Profile of Dr. Bonness

Dr. Bonness is a Board Certified, Triple-Fellowship trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and went on to complete a five-year General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She then entered a two-year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program at the University of Louisville. As the first female plastic surgeon to complete the Louisville program, she went on to complete three additional fellowships: the first in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Louisville, the second in Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Norman Cole and the last in Breast Reconstruction with a pioneer in breast surgery, Dr. Carl Hartrampf in Atlanta, Georgia.
