Florence Mussat, M.D. is a Board-Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon in Downtown Chicago and has been in private practice for over 15 years. 

She is a native of France. She was born and raised in Paris, where she graduated with Honors from the University R. Descartes School of Medicine of Paris in 1984. While in medical school, Dr Mussat worked as a surgical assistant for several plastic surgeons in Paris, after which she developed a passion for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. She completed her general surgery residency training and a critical care Fellowship at the state University of new York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, NY, and a Microvascular Research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC, NY.
