Profile of Todd Pollock, MD

The practice of Plastic Surgery is extremely gratifying and I am pleased when I am able to make a difference in patients’ lives through surgery. Whether it is correcting a deformity, enhancing one’s natural features, or repairing a defect from injury or cancer surgery, I am always honored when patients trust me with their care. I graduated from the University of Texas and also attended Southern Methodist University in preparation for my medical education and career. After four years at Chicago Medical School, I was accepted to the University of Texas Southwestern program at Parkland Memorial Hospital where I completed my residency in General Surgery. My training and experience at Parkland provided me with a meaningful background in the principles and judgment of general surgery, which I utilize every day in my Plastic Surgery practice. My Plastic Surgery residency was completed at the University of Chicago where not only knowledge of my specialty was taught, but it also stimulated my innovation, emphasized compassion, and stressed the importance of ethics.
