Profile of Jeff Walding, MD

Jeffery L. Walding, MD, FACS, a Wiregrass native, is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Walding has returned to his hometown to provide his patients with care that is directed at each patient’s individual and unique needs.

Dr. Walding attended Samford University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine. Dr. Walding remained in the southeast fulfilling his obligations in order to become a highly trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Walding completed his intern year in surgery at Wake Forest University before finishing his general surgery training at Mercer University where he won numerous awards including outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon as well as Trauma Resident of the Year. During his general surgery training, he performed numerous presentations at national meetings.
