Jan 13, 2026Practice is upscale and modern. However, it is hard to actually get in to see the dermatologist. Instead I have been given the Physican Assistant for my last several issues. I have been a patient for 5 years and have only seen Dr. Pennoyer twice - once early on when her practice was new and more recently for a biopsy. Her practice has become increasingly more cosmetic over the past 3 years. They seem more concerned about getting patients in and out, and charging them for products and services rather than explaining anything. Even when I ask what if there are things I need to know or prepare for my visit, I am told nothing. However, it is only AFTER beginning the procedure that she tells me that I may have trouble seeing to drive home. This is something that should be told to patients prior to the visit. Also, her Physician Assistant seems to be guessing at my condition, rather than making an educated diagnosis. I have already been given 2 medications without any improvement, and with no confirmed diagnosis. I would rather not pay for random guesses at my skin condition. This practice cares more about the products they sell rather than the care of their patients. I am looking for a new dermatologist.
