I would not recommend Dr. Pennoyer for laser treatment. She performed Total FX on me in January and I am left with hyperpigmentation and raised scars. I was hesitant to go through with the treatment and she called me in the day before to reassure me that there was nothing to worry about. I only did this treatment because of a surgical scar on my forehead and now I am left with scars on the rest of my face. After refunding me all of my money and insisting that she did nothing wrong I have been left with a face that I have to constantly try to cover with makeup in order to go anywhere. She gave me a steroid injection to lessen one of the raised scars but it is not better. I am currently seeing another dermatologist that specializes in laser resurfacing to try to remedy what she has done. I hope by leaving this review I can help someone else avoid having to go through what I went through. After reading some of her other reviews I am sure she will try to respond to mine to take the blame off of herself but if you are practicing medicine you should know what you are doing and do it well. If not, you should not have a medical license. I waited 6 months to see if this would get better because I would not want to leave a negative review unless it was necessary. It has not gotten better. Save your face and do not use this doctor.
