Jan 15, 2026The overall care of my mother by the doctors and the nurses were excellent. The hospital however was something different. The 3rd floor waiting area in the Surgical Center was not as clean as it should be. The charging ports are missing the ends that you insert into the phone and they should be removed. The bathroom had no toilet paper from 1230 until 730 pm and still was not replenished prior to her discharge and the bathroom was not clean. There should be a person cleaning the bathrooms once every hour due to the high volume of people in the waiting area as well as the holding area for patients. Nurse Francis was the best and he had a good sense of humor and a lot of patience with my mom and the other patients and he was on top of everything. Not sure is he's the charge nurse but if he isn't he needs to be promoted because he made sure that crew was on top of everything. Also, Admissions needs some customer service training to be able to answer questions. My mom processes insurance claims and is very knowledgeable of the process. The admission lady could not give her a full explanation of why she was being charged a service fee. I think that's about it.
