This doctor uses his surname online as his professional name to make it appear he is not Asian. His first name is halland & his last name is Chen, but he refers to himself as Dr halland. Why? He is fraudulent with his mores. I went to him for right knee pain, because my doctor moved. There is a new method of knee injections using a chemical from the roosters cone that provides additional cushion between the knee joint. The process of injecting the chemical is to use a fluoroscope to digitally pinpoint the accurate placement of the needle inside the joint to avoid BLIND INJECTIONS. I inquired by phone, before going there, does he use the digital imaging machine, because I do not want any blind injections. I was told that he uses the machine. When I arrived he said, "See there is the machine." His nurse had everything prepared for my injection. This was not my first rodeo. I know the proper procedure. He never put on the lead vest to block X-RAYS, because he never turned on the fluoroscope. He gave me blind injections. Telling me he has done over two thousand knee injections. I say all blind injections. I needed five injections in my right knee. On the third visit he used the fluoroscope not to digitally inject me, but instead to look at my healthy left knee and tell me I have arthritis in that knee as well. My two prior doctors and my present doctor's X-RAYS show no arthritis inside my left knee. He suggested I get five injections in my left knee. He is a shyster and money grubber. If you get knee injections, demand he turns on the fluoroscope and wears the lead vest otherwise he is doing blind injections. He told me I can come every six months. My new doctor told me that insurance will pay every six months, but that doesn't mean I will need injections every six months from a medical standpoint. He said only if I have pain. Six months later I received texts for another set of injections & ignored halland Chen's office like the plague. My knees never felt better from his BLIND INJECTIONS. Go to a doctor that uses the technology, not focusing on depreciation of a machine's value!!! He tricks you by his polite demeanor!!!
