I had a mid-face lift several months ago, face-lift results came out good.
However, 2 different incision patterns were used for my procedure. One slightly above the hairline on the left side of my face, but the other one below the hairline on the right side.

The one on the left heal really well and is well hidden, the one on the right is very obvious and slightly jagged as it runs across the area and under the hairline. It almost appears the scar on the right was a result of some accident, and not something done by trained hands.

I had to consult 3 different dermatologists and hair restoration surgeons about treating the scar. It was during one of those consultations that I was able to answer as to why 2 different incision patterns were used. It's because it was performed by 2 different people, Dr. Shumay had his 2 assistants in training perform the surgery and there was poor communication or coordination between them.

I also suffered what appeared to be pressure alopecia on the right side of my scalp, which was minimized at another surgeons office. In all, I will be spending thousands of dollars trying to correct the work done at Dr. Shumway's office
