First of three breast surgeries down in the books! So happy!

I am extremely happy with Dr. Srinivasa’s care and work. I was referred to her by Dr. Giuliano for reconstruction as I had chosen to have a prophylactic mastectomy with reconstruction due to genetic predisposition. Initially when I had learned about my options (implants vs DIEP flap) I was not as familiar with DIEP flaps despite being a physician myself (different specialty). I had interviewed two other reconstruction surgeons but halfway through my consult with Dr. Srinivasa I KNEW she was the right surgeon for me and that the DIEP flap would be the right reconstruction. I just completed my first of three surgeries 8 days ago and my breasts have never looked and felt this amazing. I just got my bandages off and you can’t even see the incision lines! Not to mention my pain was minimal and only for 2 days after the surgery. I’m on my way home from my visit and am beaming with happiness that Im decreasing my risk of breast cancer and looking amazing while doing it. I honestly think she is the best surgeon!
